eTip-009B   Version 3.0 - Creating Sessions with Muscle Sets to Match IKC TFH Muscle Groupings

The International Kinesiology College (IKC) TFH training classes divide the 42 TFH muscles into three sets. In Touch for Health I, there is a muscle for each of the 14 primary meridians. TFH II and III add new muscle sets.

Assisting both instructors and students, the eTouch Session Wizard creates the standard 14 and 42 muscle sets from TFH I - IV. eTouch is also able to create a Session using a selected set and then produce Session Reports for the results. This is a great way for students to present their practice balances to the instructor. Both the student and the instructor are using the same tool for learning and enhancing communication.

In this eTip, we present how to use the built-in capabilities of eTouch, so that each muscle set can be easily selected and also how to create a Session using the set.

Once the new session is created, it can be used just as any other session. Test and balance the muscles in your Session. Record your results and mark the techniques that you used.

For instructors, this is a handy way to teach the muscles in sets as they have been defined in the IKC TFH Training Books. For students, it is a great way to learn while in class and practicing. For students that must turn in reports for their balances, eTouch reports can be printed for turning assigned balances into the instructor. They can also be printed to PDF for emailing to instructor.

Below is an example of the Session Report Summary.
