eTip-50 – Creating Shortcut on Windows 10 & 11

Make sure the eTouch folder is located in your Documents folder. This is important because eTouch runs from the Documents folder since it reads and write information. If not, move eTouch folder to Documents folder.

Windows 11

  • Press and hold (or right-click) the desktop
  • Select New > Shortcut.
  • Enter the location of the item or select Browse to find the item in File Explorer
  • Select the location and select OK.
(Select eTouch for Health 3.37 in the eTouch folder in the Document folder)
  • Select Next
  • Select Finish.

    Windows 10

Click Start (the Windows orb) and go to All Apps. Find the program you want to create a desktop shortcut to and right-click on it. Click Send to and you'll see various destinations, one being Desktop (create Shortcut). Clicking on this will then make a shortcut on the Desktop.
