Monument Valley

Monument Valley is a Navajo Nation tribal park and is located in the Four Corners area of northeastern Arizona and southeastern Utah. The stone buttes, mesas and spires are some of the most recognizable images of the American West. Here we are in front of The Mittens.

Donna Eden's talk at the Energy Medicine conference was going to be focused on the Triple Warmer, so we are getting ready and checking the Teres Minor!

Sedona

Red rocks and picturesque formations surround the small community of Sedona, Arizona. The area is known for its special energy vortexes and as a location for over 100 Western movies. At one time, we lived in the neighborhood located in the picture directly above Earl's head.

Self Balances

In the left photo, we revisited one of Gail's favorite spots on Schnebly Hill Road overlooking Sedona. A perfect place for an Emotional Stress Release (ESR). At right, Earl, self-balances his Anterior Serratus while in front of Balancing Rock in Arches National Park. This rock has not moved since we last saw it 30 years ago! If only we could maintain our balance so well!

Arches

Arches National Park has over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. Many are unusual formations and are known by names like Delicate Arch and The Windows. There are many unusual and colorful formations in the park.

Great Wall of China

We have been wondering where and when our adventurous traveler, Alfred Manuel, would show up next?

Alfred first checked back in with his nomadic students in Mongolia before visiting the Great Wall of China.

It is especially befitting to see Alfred, with Carmen, practicing Touch for Health in China. TFH is based on the Eastern Acupuncture Energy Meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It was the Americans and the West that added the muscle test/monitor to the equation and the great synthesis was born.

We think, it is full-circle seeing TFH demonstrated in China.

The Great Wall of China is the world's longest man-made structure (6,352 kilometers/2,945 miles) and was first started in the 3rd century BC. Construction continued until the 17th century. It was originally built to protect China from the marauding nomadic tribes.

Tien an Man Square

Alfred with Arguil in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. This is the largest plaza in the world. Many historic Chinese monuments and places surround the square. It is the 'front door' to the Forbidden City, the ancient home of the Chinese Royal Dynasties. During holidays, the entire square is filled with flowers.

Tiananmen Square is known by many around the world as the site of the mass rebellion/massacre in support of democracy that was strongly crushed by the government in 1989.

Beijing is the site of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Some dramatic examples of China's explosive emergence in the 21st century are the new Olympic Venues being built.

Heavenly Center Stone

Alfred and his friend, Sebastien, stand on the Heavenly Center Stone in the Temple of Heaven. Built between 1406 and 1420, there is a huge amount of symbolism and numerology embedded in the design and construction of this temple where the Emperor would come to communicate with Heaven.

Alfred and Sebastien add another level of symbolism as they stand on the Heart of Heavenly stone, a place where the ancient Emperors stood.

When standing at this spot and speaking, incredible acoustics allow a soft voice to be heard over a great distance. These are created by multiple echoes that enhance the spoken voice.

Chinggis Khaan Palace

Alfred went back in Mongolia this summer to continue the Touch for Health lessons with the Mongolian Nomads he started on Page 2.

As we close this session, we once again ask, "Where will we see Alfred and Touch for Health next?"

Our thanks to all of the Chinese participants who appear here in Balancing the World.
